Anna Ingram has been named the University of Mount Olive Female Scholar-Athletes of the Month for the month of February.
A member of the softball team, Ingram is a biology major/chemistry minor who holds a 3.66 GPA. Ingram has appeared in 14 games with 35 plate appearances. She has scored five runs on ten hits with six runs batted in, and four walks. Ingram holds a .286 batting average, .381 on-base percentage, and a .429 slugging percentage.
Ingram and the Trojans are back in action this weekend, March 9-11, as they head to Cary, N.C., to participate in the Shaw Challenge.
Scholar Athlete of the Month winners are nominated by University of Mount Olive faculty members and selected by a committee chaired by UMO math professor and faculty athletics representative Dr. Brenda Cates.
