Matt Bowles drew a bases-loaded walk with one out in the top of the 12th and tournament Most Valuable Player Matt Chavarria pitched four scoreless innings to give Southern Indiana its second national championship in the last five years.

Game #13 - Colorado Mesa 3, Tampa 2

Garrett Woodward scored the winning run in the bottom of the ninth on Kevan Elcock's sacrifice fly to shallow right to advance Colorado Mesa to the Championship Game for the first time in school history. The Mavericks scored single runs in each of the final three innings to rally from a 2-0 deficit. Defending national champion Tampa is eliminated.

Game #14 - Southern Indiana 4, Minnesota State 3 Recap | Box
Caleb Eickhoff's rbi-single capped a four-run fourth inning as Southern Indiana rallied from a 3-0 deficit to advance to the Championship Game for the first time since winning the title in 2010. Starter David Toth and two relievers held Minnesota State scoreless after the Mavericks scored three runs in the first inning. Last year's national runner-up Minnesota State is eliminated.

Thursday, May 29
Game #11 – Tampa 3, Colorado Mesa 1 Recap | Box
Chase Sparkman took a shutout into the ninth inning and Zach Gawrych drove in two runs as Tampa won its third consecutive elimination game. Ryan Reno went the distance for Colorado Mesa. Tampa and Colorado Mesa face each other again Friday at 1 p.m., winner advancing to the Championship Game.

Game #12 – Minnesota State 5, Southern Indiana 1  Recap | Box
T.J. Larson allowed only five hits in seven innings, while Josh Matheson and Matt Geislinger each pitched a hitless inning in relief as Minnesota State staved off elimination for the third straight game. Taylor Branstad had three hits for the Mavericks. Minnesota State and Southern Indiana face each other again Friday at 5 p.m., winner advancing to the Championship Game.

Wednesday, May 28
Game #9 – Tampa 7, Lander 3 Recap | Box
Tampa jumped out to a five-run lead in the first two innings and went on to win its second straight elimination game. Sean O'Brien and Giovanny Alfonzo drove in two runs apiece for the Spartans. Tampa faces Colorado Mesa Thursday at 3 p.m. Lander is eliminated from the tournament.

Game #10 – Minnesota State 3, Seton Hill 1 Recap | Box
After allowing hits to each of the first four batters, Mathias Butala surrendered only four more hits the rest of the way as Minnesota State came from behind to remain alive. Connor McCallum's two-run triple keyed a three-run fourth inning. Seton Hill is eliminated from the tournament.

Tuesday, May 27
Game #7 – Minnesota State 6, St. Thomas Aquinas 1 Recap | Box
Bryce Bellin tossed a complete game five-hitter and Nolan Johnson sparked the offense with three runs batted in as Minnesota State broke away from a 1-1 tie and remained alive in the tournament. St. Thomas Aquinas is eliminated.

Game #8 – Colorado Mesa 6, Seton Hill 2 Recap | Box
Kyle Davis allowed only one earned run in seven innings and six different players drove in a run as Colorado Mesa remained unbeaten. The Mavericks are idle until Thursday. Seton Hill faces Minnesota State Wednesday in an elimination game.

Monday, May 26 (Memorial Day)
Game #5 – Tampa 14, Chico State 6 Recap | Box
Stephen Dezzi and Tyler Ding paced Tampa's 19-hit attack with four hits apiece as the Spartans jumped out to an early four-run lead and never looked back. Tampa plays another elimination game Wednesday. Chico State is eliminated.

Game #6 – Southern Indiana 6, Lander 5 Recap | Box
Matt Chavaria drove in what proved to be the game-winning run in the sixth inning and retired the side in order in the ninth to keep Southern Indiana unbeaten in the tournament. Lander faces Tampa Wednesday in an elimination game.

Sunday, May 25
Game #3 – Seton Hill 4, Minnesota State 2 Recap | Box
Matt Malacane drove in three runs to lead Seton Hill to a victory in its first-ever National Finals game. The Griffins, which will play a winner's bracket game Tuesday at 7 p.m., collected 10 hits - all singles.
Game #4 – Colorado Mesa 5, St. Thomas Aquinas 4 (10 innings) Recap | Box
In his lone at bat of the game, Trevor Elcock led off the bottom of the 10th with a double and scored the winning run on an errant throw off a bunt single to send Colorado Mesa to a winner's bracket game. St. Thomas Aquinas relief pitcher C.J. Ferriggi pitched out of a no-out bases-loaded jam in the bottom of the ninth to force extra innings.

Saturday, May 24
Game #1 – Southern Indiana 4, Tampa 3 Recap | Box
Kyle Kempf's rbi-double in the top of the ninth broke a 3-3 tie and Ben Wright went the distance as Southern Indiana defeated the defending national champion. The contest was the first-ever meeting between two teams that won national championships at Cary.
Game #2 – Lander 6, Chico State 4 Recap | Box
Three consecutive hits to open the bottom of the seventh put Lander ahead to stay and advance the Bearcats to a winner's bracket game. Weston Lawing led off with a double and scored the tying run on a single by Graham Ramos, who scored the go-ahead run on a triple by Colby Painter.
