Mount Olive College men's basketball alum Justin "Mouse" Melton was featured in an article on Yahoo Sports Philippines after his performances at the Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) Rookie Camp Monday morning. At 5-foot-9, Melton was one of only three players to reach at least 11'4" in the vertical leap drill. He also had the top performance in the push-up drill with 104 consecutive push-ups.

According to the article, Melton is projected to be an early-to-mid second round pick in the PBA Draft.

Melton, who was born in the Philippines to an American father and a Filipina mother, played for the KL Dragons of the AESAN League in the Philippines last year. He was named Eurobasket.com Player of the Week after notching a double-double in the Dragons' one-point win over the first place team in the league.

Melton is a 2009 MOC graduate and was an All-Conference Carolinas point guard for the Trojans. He ranks third in school history in career assists with 342, most coming in his final two years when he was a starter.
