Coach's perspective of the game
"I am very pleased with the overall performance of the team," said head coach Sean Brennan. "In the first half, I thought we showed how to play the game very well and were very composed on the ball. In the second half we had to grind out to get the result and hold out defensively against a very good Mars Hill team. And I couldn't be happier with the grit we showed out on the field."
Mount Olive continues their road adventures as they travel to Catawba on Wednesday, September 6, for a non-conference regional match in Salisbury, N.C.
