Mount Olive Takes 12th After Final Round Of Saint Leo Invitational

University of Mount Olive finished 12th out of 17 teams Tuesday, after the final round of the Saint Leo Invitational hosted by Saint Leo University in Saint Leo, Fla. Julie Loennechen (77-74-151) tied for 16th out of 96 golfers.

Anne Barboteau (77-82-159) finished tied for 41st. Stefany King (84-85-169) tied for 70th. Julia Kaeding (87-82-169) finished tied for 70th. Paula Guridi (95-90-185) took 87th.

Mount Olive as a team shot a combined (325-323-648) after the final round of the tournament. Florida Tech (292-297-589) was team tournament champion. Florida Tech's Felicia Leftinger defeated Francesca Perini (Barry) on the third playoff hole. Leftinger made an eight-foot putt for par on 18 to win individual championship.

Mount Olive has concluded its fall schedule and will return to action again next year in February when the Trojans will again head down to the sunshine state to play in the World Golf Village Invitational in St. Augustine, Fla. February 8, 2015.
