Johnson Earns 2nd-Team All-Conference Honors

WILSON, N.C. - The Conference Carolinas office announced the 2017 All-Conference teams on Saturday, Nov. 11, during the tournament luncheon at Barton College in Wilson, N.C. The University of Mount Olive's women's volleyball standout, Britni Johnson, garnered her career-first All-Conference honors as she concluded her collegiate volleyball career.

Johnson appeared in 113 matches missing just three games over her UMO career. She was two sets shy of playing in 400 sets having appeared in 398 as a Trojan tallying 990 kills. Johnson served up 106 aces including a personal season-best 35 in 2017. She added 83 assists and 1,076 career digs to go along with her 102 total career blocks.

Johnson was awarded for her hard work in the classroom earning back-to-back Academic All-Conference team honors in 2016 and 2017.

The Trojans went 10-19 overall, 5-9 in conference during the 2017 season falling to North Greenville in the Conference Carolinas quarterfinals.
