Pittsburgh, Pa. - Leah Hanle earned her third consecutive All-American honor with a seventh-place finish as she was one of two runners to represent the University of Mount Olive women's cross country team at the NCAA Division II National Championships Saturday morning in Pittsburgh, Pa. Celine Ritter joined Hanle at Nationals and finished 62nd.

INSIDE THE RESULTS
- Leah Hanle was third at the 700-meter split. She dropped two spots to fifth as she crossed the 1.8k mats. As she reached the came across the 3.9k marker Hanle had moved to seventh where she finished the race.
- Celine Ritter finished the race in 62nd place, a full 107 spots higher than her 2017 finish of 169th. Ritter was as high as 58th as she came across the 2.9k split but slipped down a few spots as she finished the race 62nd.
- Hanle's 7th place finish at the 2018 NCAA Division II Cross Country National Championships is the highest finish by a Trojan at Nationals.
- Hanle became the program's first three-time All-American on either side, men and women.
UMO's cross country season concludes at nationals. The Trojans track and field teams begin their season this weekend at the Appalachian State Open.
